Well, that was a wonderful way to end the week!

Yesterday Charlie's temperature jumped up, and we couldn't get in touch with his doctor. So we took him to the emergency room. Of course, as soon as we got there he started acting perfectly fine and his fever was down significantly. Which meant we didn't get fast-tracked, so we sat there all afternoon and on into the evening.

And when we finally got back into an exam room, it still took about an hour and a half! The doctor took a look at him, and said he has a really bad cold and an ear infection. So Charlie gets a round of antibiotics.

But Charlie was so cute in the little hospital gown he had to wear! I wish could've gotten his picture! And he was such a good boy, very cooperative! And according to them, he's grown to 31 inches tall!! Woohoo!! Finally some growth!!

Now if he'll just start talking...
