I'm very sorry to have to tell you this, but I've been using another journal site. I know this may hurt you, but I can't resist the attraction that I feel to livejournal.

It's just that livejournal has so much to offer! Especially the user picture icons. You know what a weakness I have for pictures!

Yes, it's been going on for a while. I know you've felt the neglect. I'm probably going to let you go.

I'm sure you'll get over it someday. I'll always have a special place in my heart for you. Sure, I'll still see you, but I can't promise any regularity to the visits.

I just can't imagine what motivates people. Why do they create drama for themselves?

And then they don't understand why people get less and less sympathetic.

Another good one is when people criticize someone for the same faults that they have. Oh, yes...the pot loves to call the kettle black!

It's ridiculous! I wish I had studied psychology! Or that I could read minds. I just want to understand! Then maybe I could help them. Or at least make the right noises so they could help themselves.

There are several people who I would like to take their decision-making capabilities away. Just say, "No. You've made too many bad decisions. Now I get to decide for you."

Heh, heh, heh...

That sounds so controlling. It's not that I want them to do things my way. It's just that I'd like to see them actually think about what they're doing and consider what the consequences may be.

*shrugs* Is that so bad?

So Branson and Devan are starting to calm down a bit. They're still not talking to each other nicely, but at least they're willing to work things out.

Branson spoke with Shelia. He said that Devan was listening to other people and getting emotional. That was getting him emotional and he was saying stuff he shouldn't.

The point is...he's willing to let Devan have custody of Abby, he just wants visitation rights. He's willing to work it out however is best for everyone, but right now he would rather talk it out with Shelia.

Devan said he's completely refusing to speak to her! He'll text her, but that's it!

But I'm so happy that it's not gonna be a huge, ugly fight! Yay!

I'm so worried about Devan and I don't know what I can do to help her. It's driving me crazy!

I wish I could fix it for her, but I can't.

She had a fight with her 'boyfriend' and in a fit of temper...she took a bottle of pills. (I don't know what she thought that would accomplish.) Then, she realized what a stupid thing that was to do, so she went to the hospital. She's fine, and because she came to the hospital voluntarily and wasn't actually trying to commit suicide...(and her sister works in the ER)...they didn't commit her. But I kinda wish they had done the whole 72 hour observation period. Then she would have had some time away from her 'friends' and maybe she would actually make a decision for herself.

*sighs* I love her, but she makes some bad decisions!!

Anyway, the fight was because Branson said he was kicking her and Abby out. He thought she'd spent the past weekend with his friend Chad. (She wasn't with Chad this past weekend. She was working the race!) And that night he said he was going to sign over his rights to Abby and cut all ties to them.

Of course for the past 2 days Devan and Branson have been sending each other progessively meaner messages through their friends. Now, he's decided that he's taking Abby and she'll never see her daughter again. He only wants to do this to hurt her! If he actually got custody of Abby, he'd sign his rights over to his mom. (His mom has tried to get him to do this in the past.)

Today he called her and told her that if Abby wasn't at daycare for him to pick up, it was on. She asked if he would bring her back. He informed her that he didn't have to reassure her, he had a lawyer.

That sounds like a threat to me!

So, naturally, she didn't take Abby to daycare and the last time I talked to her she was at a lawyer's office. But this is getting very ugly, very fast.

I don't want Devan to lose Abby! I adore Abby! She's such a sweet kid and deserves to have both her parents in her life. If only Branson would quit being such a shit, so they could work out an agreement.

I wish Branson would cease to exist. I don't like it when people hurt or threaten people I love.

So...there's good news and bad news on the truck repair.

The good news is that Cecil is gonna do it, so we won't have to pay an arm and a leg! Yay! But I think we do need to pay him a little something this time! I think that money that we lent him a year an a half ago ran out on the repairs to the Jimmy. But it won't be right away...

The bad news is that it's not gonna be a simple, quick job. So, I'm still without a way to go. And since Jason has to work today, I'm stuck at home. Again. This is the third day in a row that I've stayed at home. *sighs* I'm almost looking forward to work tomorrow. At least I'll get out.
